Voat Media & Entertainment Communities
A Voat (Reddit alternative, 2013–2020) dataset of 159,697 submissions, 524,549 comments, 39,227 users, 238,664 collaboration edges, collected by Mekacher & Papasavva (ICWSM 2022) via full platform crawl. Each record contains user nodes (registration date, moderation status), directed weighted edges (commenter→submitter, weight=upvotes+1), submission titles and bodies, comment text, upvotes, downvotes, depth. Thematic cluster of 70 Voat subverses covering voat media & entertainment communities, combining 159,697 submissions and 524,549 comments into a single user collaboration network for cross-community analysis.. Suitable for cross-community analysis, topic modeling, platform dynamics, social network analysis, content moderation research.
